The MOZA HBP Handbrake uses a non-contact 16-bit angle sensor inside a CNC-machined aluminium body. Resistance, travel, stop position and lever orientation can be adjusted to suit rally, drifting or road-car layouts. On PC it operates as its own USB device. In a Fanatec-based PC setup, the HBP does not connect to the Fanatec base; connect it separately to the PC and confirm that the game supports the required inputs.

Adjustable mechanical feel
The HBP supports adjustable resistance through swappable springs, plus travel and stop-position adjustment. The lever can be installed horizontally for rally/drift-style layouts or vertically for a road-car-style position, with multi-angle adjustment available in either orientation.
PC and MOZA-base connection
For PC, MOZA documents direct USB connection. The handbrake can also connect through a compatible MOZA wheelbase for simplified ecosystem setup. This means no direct HBP-to-Fanatec wheelbase connection is required or documented for PC use; the HBP uses its own USB connection and game-level input support still matters.
Rig and desk mounting
The handbrake uses M6 mounting and offers an optional side-mount arrangement. For desk use, MOZA specifies the MOZA Universal Mounting Plate together with the MOZA Flight Base Table Clamp; both are separate products and are not included.
Compatibility
Platform: Manufacturer-verified for Windows PC through direct USB. For Xbox, MOZA states that shifters and handbrakes can obtain console support when connected directly to a compatible MOZA base; adaptation remains game-dependent.
Connection and ecosystem: On PC, the HBP connects directly to the computer by USB; no direct HBP-to-Fanatec-wheelbase connection is documented. MOZA also confirms HBP compatibility with its own wheelbases.
Requirements: PC use requires a free USB connection and a game that supports the handbrake input. Xbox use requires a compatible Xbox-capable MOZA setup such as the MOZA R3 Xbox & PC system; a Fanatec wheelbase by itself does not provide the documented MOZA Xbox accessory route.

Will the MOZA HBP work with a Fanatec wheelbase on PC?
The HBP has a standalone PC USB route, so connect it separately to the PC rather than through the Fanatec base. The game must support the required input devices.
Can I use the HBP on Xbox with a Fanatec base?
No manufacturer-verified HBP-to-Fanatec Xbox route is documented. MOZA's Xbox accessory route requires the peripheral to connect to a compatible MOZA base, with game-dependent adaptation.
How can I mount it to a desk?
MOZA specifies the Universal Mounting Plate together with the Flight Base Table Clamp. These mounting parts are not included.
Can the lever be mounted horizontally?
Yes. Horizontal and vertical lever mounting are both supported, with multi-angle adjustment.
Can I adjust resistance and travel?
Yes. Resistance can be changed with the spring system, and travel and stop position can also be adjusted.
