AB7 Rib Protector – The New Standard in Karting Safety
The Bengio AB7 Rib Protector represents the latest evolution in kart protection by combining:
TOTAL BODY PROTECTION
The standard side protection has been expanded with new elements to protect the rider's sternum and back, for all-around safety. The entire torso area thus receives optimal protection and comfort.
Back protection: Tested for impact energy of 100 joules

Chest protection: Tested to an impact energy of 60 joules

Rib protection: Tested for impact energy of 100 joules
The FIA standard requires that the maximum peak force during an impact not exceed 1 kN. The AB7 tests achieve results well above this standard.

DESIGN AND ERGONOMICS
The AB7's design ensures a better fit on every part of the rider's body. The redesigned side rib protection offers an improved fit in the riding position, while the elastic shoulder straps allow for adjustable adjustment to suit any body type.

CLOSING SYSTEM
Thanks to the new closure system, designed and registered by Bengio, the rider can put on and adjust the rib protector quickly, easily, and securely. This ensures that the protective areas remain in place while riding, in accordance with FIA safety standards.

MATERIALS
